Studio Birlik

Overview

StudioBirlik is a multidisciplinary design studio that blends architecture, interior design, and custom manufacturing. For this project, I led the end-to-end design of their new website—translating their holistic and premium approach into a digital space that feels both editorial and timeless.

My goal was to create a minimal yet rich visual experience that highlights the studio’s integrated capabilities—from bespoke joinery to large-scale turnkey projects. The result is a curated, immersive website that speaks to both design-conscious clients and architecture professionals alike.

Process

Research & Strategy

I started by analyzing StudioBirlik’s brand language, project scale, and user personas. Given their hybrid offering (design + production), it was essential to structure content that clearly communicates their craftsmanship, services, and product categories. Through stakeholder interviews and competitor research, I mapped out a content hierarchy that allows users to explore both tangible products (like kitchens, doors, and cabinets) and intangible services (like quoting, multisite project management, and production workshops). Wireframes were developed to support visual storytelling, intuitive navigation, and future scalability for case studies and content expansion.

Design & Development

The design language is guided by quiet confidence and architectural clarity—clean lines, a restrained color palette, and generous use of white space help foreground visuals and project photography. I used an asymmetric grid and dynamic layout variations to prevent visual monotony while maintaining a strong editorial feel. Typography choices reflect the studio’s blend of tradition and modernity, while microinteractions and hover states subtly enhance the browsing experience. All components were designed responsively, ensuring a seamless experience across devices—from mobile-first client interactions to large-screen presentations for business partners.

Collaborating with the Internal Team

I worked closely with the founders and internal team at StudioBirlik across every stage—from UX mapping to image selection and content structuring. This collaboration ensured that every detail remained aligned with the studio’s identity, both visually and strategically. We also structured the backend CMS with flexibility in mind, enabling the team to easily update project galleries, products, or service offerings in the future.

Outcome

The final website delivers a visually elegant and information-rich experience that positions StudioBirlik as a leader in integrated spatial design and manufacturing. Visitors can explore project types, product lines, and services in a curated flow that reflects the studio’s values: craft, quality, and clarity.

This project elevated the brand’s digital presence and built a strong foundation for long-term growth—supporting both portfolio visibility and client acquisition. By blending functionality with refined aesthetics, the new site mirrors StudioBirlik’s real-world design philosophy in the digital realm.
